Why Drupal?

There are many content management systems (CMS) available. Companies that create websites often have their own CMS software, which they offer to their clients for an additional fee. There's also a number of content management systems that are absolutely free of charge. Examples include Wordpress (considered the best blogging engine by many experts), Joomla! or Drupal.

So, why Drupal and not another CMS?

It's free

Yes, despite being highly advanced software, created through years of work of many a skilled programmer, Drupal is available absolutely free of charge, for everyone. Since my work is not involved in the creation of the CMS, and obtaining it cost me nothing, you won't pay any additional fees either. Ever.

It's flexible

Drupal is probably the most flexible CMS of them all. You can use it for building a simple business card-type sites, complex enterprise sites, corporational portals, blogs, forums, image galleries - anything that bears a name, plus a few things that still haven't earned one.  Imagination is the only limit.

It's actively developed and upgraded

Many skilled programmers work constantly on upgrading Drupal and removing any found security issues. This way, you can always enjoy an up to date, secure and stable software.

It counts with community support

The "Drupal community" is formed by thousands of programmers around the globe. They all work on additional plugins and modules that can be installed anytime. Modules are what gives Drupal all the extra functionality, such as voting for the site's content using the popular five star system. Modules are created free of charge, so you never need to pay for extra functionality either.

It's widely used

Drupal is used by thousands, both individuals and companies, all over the world. That includes the prestigious magazine The Economist and  the White House. Getting answers to any Drupal-related questions is extremely easy.
